The high-performance 8 Foot version longboard. The V8 Hot Rod combines speed and maneuverability to deliver the most dynamic performance available from a 8 footer. The V8 Hot Rod is baby brother of our Skin Dog 9’0 longboard model.
The template is scaled down perfectly to make a very high performance mid-length longboard, which really excels in punchy beach and reef break conditions. The V8 longboard has a pulled in 17 1/4” pointer nose, the Tail is like a performance board plan shape in the last 2ft to a baby squash tail.
Technical features are a progressive rocker profile. Nose to middle single concave running 2/3 of the board into a 1/3 Vee double concave in the tail for a smooth feel.
